About Us
In August we had a Christening day for Cameron. He already got baptised at the hospital when he was 9 days old, but this was a family day to celebrate. The priest from the hospital, Father Matthew came to the church for the service with Father David. We all went to the Regent Club after and I had lots of fun running about and playing with all my cousins! Auntie Emma and Uncle Eric told us they were going to have a baby that day too.
My Auntie Anne and Uncle Sanchez in London phoned and told us they were going to have a baby just after Uncle Eric and Auntie Emma. I love my wee cousins and can’t wait to meet my new ones!
In October 2004 Mummy, Daddy and Cameron had to go back to Birmingham for another heart operation. This time they were away a much longer time. Cameron’s operation got put back for a week and then he was really sick after his operation and had to go for another one to try and fix him. Me, Granny Mary and Granda Charlie were all in Birmingham, staying in Edward House with Mummy and Daddy at this time. That night we were all sitting in the lounge and Mummy was crying when the phone rang. It was Julie, Cameron’s nurse, to tell us he was out of surgery much quicker than they thought and was OK. We all went to see him and say goodnight. Mummy was crying even more then, even though Cameron was alright!!
Mummy, Daddy and Cameron came home in November and Cameron was really well. This time Cameron had to get his milk through a tube. We called it stinky milk! Cameron didn’t like it and kept being sick but he needed it because he had a chylothorax and couldn’t have any fat. In December he was allowed to get Mummy’s milk again but we had to throw out the living room rug because it was stinking from Cameron’s stinky milk sick!!
We had a great Christmas and New Year. Me and Cameron got lots of toys and books and clothes. The toys and books were my favourites. We saw all our family and had great fun playing with all our cousins.
In March Auntie Emma had her baby. It was a girl and her name is Cara. She looks like Uncle Eric, but much prettier. Then in April Auntie Anne had her baby, a boy called Andrew. He looks like his big cousin Damiene who lives in London too.
